BARCELONA MODEL DELIVERED TO THE BLACK SEA SHORE AT COSTINEȘTI

28 sqm, a sand colour mixed specifically for the coast, and one of the finest sea views in south-eastern Europe

Some houses are built around space.

View Box Houses were designed around the view.

This delivery proves it better than any other: a 28 sqm View Box Barcelona placed directly on the shore at Costinești, a short walk from the famous Costinești shipwreck and right next to the new Nibiru resort.

From the living area window you see the sea and the wreck. That is the whole brief.

A Colour Mixed Specifically for the Coast

The exterior of this house is not a catalogue colour.

The client asked for a very pale yellow, close to the colour of sand, so that the house would not contrast with the landscape but appear to belong to it.

The result is clearest in the afternoon light: the house takes on exactly the same colour temperature as the beach behind it.

It is a good illustration of what customisation actually means at View Box Houses — not picking from a palette, but mixing a colour for one specific site.

The Road to the Sea

The house travelled to Costinești on a trailer, fully finished in the factory.

The final kilometres along the seafront, with the water on one side and the sand-coloured house on the platform, explain the project better than any description.

Final placement was carried out by crane that same afternoon, straight onto the prepared position.

A Layout Adapted to the Client

The standard Barcelona comes with two rooms and a sofa bed in the living area.

For this project, the client wanted something different.

The sofa bed was dropped entirely and replaced with proper beds in both rooms.

• The first room is configured mainly as a bedroom, with a bed and dedicated storage.

• The second room combines a sleeping area with the kitchen.

It is a layout designed for real seaside use, where the number of beds matters more than a textbook separation between living room and bedroom.

The Kitchen

The kitchen area is fully functional and integrated into the second room:

• Mini-fridge

• Induction hob

• Extractor hood

• Dedicated kitchen storage

Comfort and Insulation for Life by the Sea

The house has underfloor heating and triple-glazed windows.

On the coast, where day and night temperatures differ significantly and the season can stretch well beyond summer, those two elements are the difference between a summer-only rental and a unit that works almost all year.

View Box Barcelona — 28 sqm, Two Rooms, Up to Four People

Barcelona is the most compact View Box model with two separate rooms that can accommodate up to four people.

For a coastal landowner or a tourism investor, that means a complete accommodation unit with its own bathroom and kitchen, installed in a matter of hours, with no building site and no conventional construction.

Prefabricated Houses With Superior Insulation and a 50-Year Warranty

One of the reasons why View Box Houses modular homes have become increasingly popular across Europe is their excellent balance between quality, comfort, and energy efficiency.

Our prefabricated houses use advanced insulation systems, premium materials, and modern construction methods that often outperform many traditional buildings in terms of thermal efficiency.

Combined with a galvanized steel structure backed by a 50-year structural warranty, these modular homes are designed to provide comfort, durability, and peace of mind for decades.

Real Projects, Real Results

Like every View Box Houses project, this is not a rendering or a concept.

It is a real house, manufactured, delivered, and installed for a real client, on the shore of the Black Sea.

The photos from this delivery show exactly what a capsule house designed around a view looks like.

A Region Made for Houses Like This

Costinești is changing. The new Nibiru resort has brought a different kind of tourism to the area, and land near the seafront has suddenly become very interesting for small-scale accommodation.

These are precisely the sites View Box Houses were designed for: locations where the view is the main argument, and where conventional construction is either too slow or too complicated.

View Box Houses continues to manufacture and deliver capsule houses, modular homes, and prefabricated houses throughout Europe, creating real projects that people can visit, experience, and enjoy.
